Frederick Douglass International Academy (FDIA) seeks a diverse community of students, bringing urban and suburban youth together, to instill harmony and social acceptance of cultural diversities.
The Academy provides a nurturing environment that focuses on rigorous academic standards in the core content areas, skill enhancement for utilizing 21st century technology, and strong character development program with a bully prevention component. FDIA will build toward offering an international exchange program, and a International Baccalaureate program.
Frederick Douglass International Academy serves Pre-K through grade 6 students for the 2015-2016 school year. The Academy will add an additional grade each year until we reach grade 8. A high school option will be available in the future.
